Every pose has its card: the Sanskrit name and what it means, numbered steps, the key points of alignment, an easier variation and the cases where you should adapt or avoid it. The 33 postures described by the classical hatha texts come with their verse in our own translation, and each card tells you honestly whether the pose is classical or modern.
